Thanks a lot. I took the first version. I just did not understand this command in detail: h_X:=FrequencyTable(X)[1..,2]; 1..,2 When I take this I get an error.... How should I write it when I want to count the numbers in the intervals 1 to 10, 10 to 20, 20 to 30 and so on? Thanks

Thanks a lot and sorry for my basic questions. Isn´t it shorter with your first proposal: I wrote: X1 := random[normald[mu, sigma]](1000); K1 := select(x->x>=0 and x>=mu-3*sigma and x<=mu+3*sigma, X1) Unfortunately it just gave me one value back for K1 Any idea how to modify it that I can use this shorter version?
