it is quite convenient for maple to solve this euqations. U may refer to maple help in the upper side of maplesoft.

I think this experesson :F:= M*(  (1 -  ( 1 - a)*e^(-k*q*t)) /q)^(1/(1-q)) ;
may be too complex to fit. So I suppose we just fit the data by polynomial.
