I have a function

f(x)=2*2^x-2

g(x)=-1/2x^2+3/2+5

When I plot by, plot(f(x),g(x) - no problem there.

But I need the intersection to continue my task and when trying to do f(x)=g(x) I get x=RootOf... back.

I've tried solve and a lot of other things, can anyone please help?
