Yes, I know, the problem is that I sometimes run a statement that has ";" instead by mistake which usually crashes my Maple (or at least locks it for so long that I have to restart it), and sometimes results in corrupted documents. I just wish there was a way to protect me from my own clumsiness!
Enabling system commands in Maple 11->Preferences solved that particular problem. Now I instead get the following error: Error, external linking: error loading external library mwrap_newton.so: dlopen(mwrap_newton.so, 129): image not found I checked my currentdir() and it's in my documents folder which I do have write permission to.
