(for some reason my last post was cut off. Here's the rest of it.) Thus, if I were to enter it by hand it would look something like this: f:=x->piecwise(x>10 and x<11, 1 + 2*x + 3*x^2 + 4*x^3,....) Is there any way to autmate this process? Thanks, Matt
Ok, this is what I've come up with so far. The only thing I can't figure out is how to make the curve on top of the points. Theres so many points that they completely cover up the curveno matter what I do. Can anyone help? > with(plots): > points:=Statistics[ScatterPlot](xp,yp): > curve:=plot(h + a*cos(w*x+p),x=0..2,title="Function and Data Plot"): > > display({curve, points});
