You are right. But the letter 'ś' looks strange; the accent is not over the lettes 's'.

Maple does not allow to plot lines decorated with symbols by using only one component, does it?

I still need to get such a legend:

Is it possible in Maple ?

PS. the symbols can be in the middle of the line.

No, I need such a legend:  I know that latex commands are not available in Maple. The symbols (diamod, solidbox, etc.) can be in the middle of the each line.

How did you plot such graph?

I wish to express my thanks to you for your interest in my problem.

I still think that such behaviour of Maple is strange and it is a very big danger to the programmers.

My conclusion is that you have to be careful with definining new procedures. Since, if you define the one used before (in the same way), then you are in very big danger.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot.

I have changed the lines in /...MAPLE_DIR.../bin/maple file into:

        MAPLE_JRE_BIN="/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/"         #"$MAPLE/jre.X86_64_LINUX/bin/"
        JRE_ROOT="/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/lib"               #"$MAPLE/jre.X86_64_LINUX/lib"

Now printing service is found :-)

plot3d works for me, too

Yes, I am using Linux 64 version of Ubuntu. I have 64bit version of Maple, too.

I was trying with jre from ubuntu package http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/sun-java6-jre and jre from Sun http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/install/jre/install-linux-64.html. In both cases an unexpected error occurs.
