I believe that it is not possible to chain this way in Multipart/Question Designer questions because the question itself is fully rendered upon entry. This means that all values in the question are defined when it loads up, you cannot dynamically change values as the user procedes through the question.

I could live with that IF the code shown for chaining separate questions actually worked. It does not. That may be because it is written in T.A. 2.5x style, which does not translate well to 4.x . Has anyone had any luck with that?
