Thanks Thomas for the encouragement. I was getting tired last night of dealing with the RootOf,index number, label thing but today it seems to be much clearer. I just hope I get over the hurdle before the good people that have been answering my questions get tired of me asking. Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully I will get to where I see the RootOf symbolism as an asset rather than an obscure way of doing math. Again, thanks.

Dear Sirs, I find the whole concept of RootOf answers rather vague and wonder if one ever gets used to the concept. For the price or Maple, should one should get clear and concise answers???

I did as you outlined Scott and got an popup menu named "Hp psc series properties." There was an "about" tab but no driver info there but under the advanced tab it said: Driver: hp psc 2100 series Hope that is the info needed.

I am using windows XP on a dell desktop that is about 3 years old. If you can tell me how to determine the printer driver version, I will do that. Thanks.
